I grew up with Long Squash and my mother made us a Hungarian Long Squash Chowder with fresh Dill! Actually, I never really liked it much as a little girl but the dill grew on me as an adult, now I adore the flavor of fresh dill.

Now let’s get our hands dirty with these “clean” Almond Apple Explosions!
Tip: you could also use almond meal or coconut flakes for rolling
Tip: feel free to experiment with spices and flavors!
- 1 cup + 1 tbsp. Almond Meal by Red Mill
- 1 medium Apple, grated (with skin)
- 3 tbsp. Natural Almond Butter
- 1 pinch of Sea Salt (brings out all the flavor)
- 1 tbsp. Lemon Juice and the Peel (use organic lemon, peel first and then juice)
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- 2-3 tbsp. Cocoa Powder or Hot Chocolate Powder, your choice (for rolling)
- Mix everything together
- Roll with coconut oil-covered hands into little bit-size pieces
- Roll them in the cocoa powder or coconut flakes
